One position per level - 4 total - PreK-12, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12

Job Responsibilities:       

The summer school coordinator will have the responsibility of coordination and organization of the summer school remedial instruction program. This position will involve overseeing the day to day operations of summer school students. Work must be performed prior to the beginning of summer school to appropriately place and schedule students and following the conclusion of the summer program to complete program reports.

Qualifications:     

The successful candidate will possess proper certification in education, knowledge of remedial instruction techniques, and the ability to work effectively with administrators, teachers, and parents. Additional job requisites include effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Dates of Employment:     

The summer school coordinator will work a total of 16 days, including 13 days of summer school, 1 teacher training/planning day, and 2 flex days for pre and post school coordination. Summer school dates are June 2-18, 2025.  Summer School Coordinators will work a total of 5.5 hours each day.
